In fairest garden did a crimson rosebud blossom, petals soft as lovers' caress, perfumed sweet as summer's kiss. Under moon's glow it did mature, unfolding secrets beautiful and pure.
Chanced upon this rose, a young man smitten, enthralled by such flawless vision. "Aah, sweet rose, most lovely flower, your beauty matches none, your charm holds power. My heart feels overwhelm'd, to pluck you now would be too bold, yet my soul feels compelled to have you close, your velvet touch my own to hold."
As dawn awoke, the rose did call, "Dear young man, your words enthrall, but listen close and heed me now - to pluck me now would only allow, my beauty to swiftly fade away, as life from petals starts to fray. Yet if you leave me on the vine, each day we'll share would be divine."
"Sweet rose, your wisdom opens my eyes, to cherish you as days and nights pass by. I'll visit with you, rest beneath this tree, if you'll permit me your company. For love not possessed shines brightest, like stars above that glitter nightly."
Their bond grew strong, love bloomed anew, as only in nature's way it true. The rose and man took joy in every hour, as she unveiled her leaves like gracious flower. Till seasons changed and winter fell, their love had grown and served them well.
When winter's chill besieged the land,
And gardens bowed to ice's command,
The young man feared his rose would perish,
Her beauty banished, lifeblood famished.
Yet trusting spring would return anew,
He focused on what heaven might brew.
When snow melted and life began stirring,
The rose appeared, lovely persevering!
With joy the young man cried, "Sweet flower!
You lived despite the winter's power,
Your strength and radiance still remains,
Summer's kiss calls, we start again!"
The rose replied, "My dear, have faith,
Our love shall outlast nature's wrath.
You gave me room to rest, renew,
And now our bond feels even more true."
Their affection grew with summer's glow,
Through compassion and care it would flow.
Despite life's trials, love stayed gentle and kind,
In their hearts, the other's image enshrined.
And when the seasons cycled round once more,
Their love shone brighter than before.
Through summer's joy and winter's ache,
Their hearts remained loyal and awake.
