A Love Letter

Rushing, office drama, global news - what else has been quietly draining the life out of you these past few years?

From a Global Pandemic to a Global Remaking - that's the only way to describe what we've all lived through. But if there's one gift the post-COVID years gave us, it's this: a new relationship with work and life. One that used to feel like a privilege reserved for a certain type of person, a certain type of career, a certain type of personality. Not anymore.

Fully remote work should simply be the norm now. Choosing your location, your environment, your people - real independence, on your own terms.

When you were seven years old and someone told you that tech was for boys, or that learning languages was a waste of time - did you believe them? If your answer is no, then we probably have something in common.

Bloody knees. Mysterious bruises. An insatiable hunger for knowledge. Curiosity that got us into trouble and taught us everything worth knowing (the hard way). That followed us - us rebellious girls - almost every step of the way.

Dismantling the family PC and reassembling it while the men around you shook their heads and said "leave it, that's not for you" - that was just a Tuesday. Not because you don't value men, or dismiss what they offer. But because the men who truly shaped you - the good ones, the steady ones, the ones in your family - encouraged you. They wanted you capable, self-sufficient, and equipped. Just in case. And that felt like love. That felt empowering.

Secure men want to see you grow and glow. They build alongside you, they help you and you uplift each other. They are never threatened by what you know, what you earn, or what you're capable of. That, my love, is where the bar is. Hold it there.

Healthcare, banking, insurance, economics, real estate, legal, regulation, tech - life has taken me through more arenas than I ever anticipated. And yet the most comfortable, most alive I have ever felt is right here: in a life I chose for myself. Still building a career. Still running a small women-only business. Still nurturing multiple passions, travelling to breathtaking places, and finally - finally - exhaling. This is my dream for you, too - because if life brought me here, I know with everything in me that it can take you exactly where you're dreaming of landing. Not one day. Not someday. Now.

To hell with the noise. To hell with the people telling you that you can't - because you absolutely can, and deep down you already know it. Let the doubters be. Let them go. Use your discernment. That is not your weight to carry.

You follow your own light. Move with intention, move with courage, and hold tightly to the people who show up for you through every phase - the challenging one, the risky one, the one that look a little delusional from the outside. Those people are rare. Keep them close.

Dream big, then dare to dream bigger. I want to see you win. And more than anything, I cannot wait to see your smile the moment you realise that the little girl inside you - the one who never stopped believing - is watching you win too.

Bonne journée, my love. Don't you dare give up.

You've got this! Lots of love, The Samsara Retreats Team
