Comparing Yourself To Other Women Is Not IT

A co‑working space in Portugal. A party in Spain. A café in Paris. A busy event in London. A crowded beach anywhere in Europe. No matter where we go, women are constantly comparing themselves to other women. But is it a conscious choice - or a deeply ingrained, subconscious reaction shaped by years of conditioning?

For generations, society has taught women that comparison is normal, even expected. That our worth is measured against someone else’s beauty, success, intelligence, motherhood, creativity, or ambition. Yet more and more women are quietly stepping out of this exhausting game - unsubscribing from the mindset that pits us against each other and choosing instead to honour their own path.

Aren’t we tired of the backhanded “compliments” that lift us up only by putting another woman down? The faux pedestal that feels flattering for a millisecond but ultimately reinforces the same old hierarchy we’re trying to escape.

Whether you’re 16, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 or 80 - your timeline is your own. Your growth is your own. Your life unfolds at your pace, not in comparison to anyone else’s. The moment we stop measuring ourselves against other women - or allowing others to compare us - is the moment the true magic of the feminine force begins to rise again.

It’s time to reclaim that magic. It’s time to uplift, not compete. It’s time to stand beside one another - not above, not below. This isn’t about winning, performing, or staring into a mirror wishing you were someone else, or looked more like whatever the fashion and beauty industries have decided is “acceptable” this season. That narrative needs to be interrupted. All that energy we waste comparing, judging, or shrinking ourselves could be redirected into something far more meaningful - something supportive, nourishing, and genuinely transformative.

Rebel against the frame. Choose yourself. Pour more self‑care and self‑love into your daily rhythm, even in the smallest ways. And just as importantly, find gentle ways to uplift the women around you. Celebrate their strengths. Honour their journeys. Refuse to participate in the cycle of pointing out flaws, insecurities, or perceived shortcomings.

And here’s a powerful practice: share a small truth about yourself with the world and watch closely. Notice who uses it against you - and who steps closer, offering softness, understanding, and support when you need it most. That’s where your energy belongs. That’s where the feminine force grows stronger.
